Receiving Files from MasterMix via FTP

Here is the procedure for receiving an audio file from MasterMix using our ftp server.

First, contact MasterMix (615-321-5970) and provide your name, email address, and project title. A username and password will be sent to you by email.

Second, download using Fetch or similar ftp application. Enter the server address (home.moses.com) as required. You will be prompted for your username and password, and once logged in will be placing files in a discrete folder assigned to your project.

Third, when you have finished downloading, send an email to "transfer@mastermix.com" indicating that you have received all files relating to the project, or advise if further uploads can be expected. We generally only maintain access for a period of 7 days unless special arrangements have been made.

Using a web browser to download. . .

obtain username and password as above;
type into the location window "ftp://username@home.moses.com";
at the prompt, enter your assigned password;
drag-and-drop your files from the folder displayed in the browser window to your desktop;
send email to "transfer@mastermix.com" when completed.

Using an FTP application (e.g. Fetch) to download. . .

obtain username and password as above;
launch ftp application by 'double-clicking;
at the prompt, enter the address ftp://home.moses.com;
enter your assigned username, and password;
application will make connection, and you view list of available files;
follow directions and/or 'drag-and-drop' files to your desktop;
when all downloads complete, 'quit' application to disconnect from server;
send email to "transfer@mastermix.com" with status.
