Acceptable Mastering Formats

The following information describes the possible source material options that are available to you.  This list is included to make your mastering session as efficient as possible.  Please discuss any variations or questions with the mastering engineer when your session is booked.

Analog: Two-Track Stereo

WAV / AIFF / AES-31 (Broadcast WAV) / Sonic AIFF
Files must be flat files with no platform-specific processing required. Discuss any variations with the mastering engineer when session is booked.  File conversion may be charged at Stereo Editing Rate.


**Retrospective archives must include audio files (see file info above) on tape media, with Backup Set on separate CD-ROM (Mac-formatted).  Restoring archived project may be charged at Stereo Editing Rate.
